Standard Days Method or SDM counts and tracks a woman’s menstruation cycle.
SDM is a fertility awareness-based method that uses Cycle Beads to monitor which days a couple can have sex by abstaining on days when a woman is likely to get pregnant. Women using this method abstain from sexual intercourse on fertile days (days 8 to 19) to avoid pregnancy.
Cycle Beads have 32 colored beads and a black rubber ring that can be moved from bead to bead.
Count the days of your menstrual cycle by marking the red bead with the ring as DAY 1. Then move the ring once everyday until you start another cycle.
Take note that Days 8 to 19 of every cycle (white beads) are days where you are most possible to get pregnant. Otherwise, when your ring is on a brown bead, you are least likely to get pregnant.
The Standard Days Method is easy to learn and control.
It helps women learn about their menstrual cycle.
