#ItsOKtoDelay, ang tugon ng kabataan sa family planning

A modern approach 👪

Ang maagang pagbubuntis ng mga kabataang babae o teenage pregnancy ay dulot ng tradisyonal na pagtuturo ng family planning sa gitna ng modernong kalagayan ng mundo.

Malaki ang kakulangan sa makabago at epektibong paraan ng pagtuturo tungkol sa mga bagay na hindi pangkaraniwang pinag-uusapan ng pamilya tulad ng sex, family planning, at contraceptives. Dahil dito, naging karaniwan ang hindi planadong pagbubuntis sa murang edad na maaring makasama sa kalusugan ng batang ina at ng sanggol. Gayundin naman, ang pagiging batang ina ay may kaakibat na problema sa pag-aaral, emosyonal, at pinansyal.

Dahil sa mga rasong ito, “It’s OK to Delay!“, ang sagot ng POPCOM at RTI International sa tulong ng USAID Philippines. Hangarin ng kampanyang ito na magsilbing gabay ng mga Pinay sa modernong family planning.
