Kwento Ng Breastfeeding Mom

Her bittersweet struggles in feeding her baby liquid gold

Breast milk a.k.a. liquid gold is the perfect food for infants. It is advised for mommies to exclusively breastfeed their babies up to 6 months old and to continue doing so (with solid food) until 2 years old. Yes, breastfeeding is a beautiful way for moms and babies to bond but it isn’t always rainbow and butterflies.

Breastfeeding your baby is not easy. To better understand the bittersweet struggles of breastfeeding, Mommy Fatima shared with us her breastfeeding journey with her two kids:

What I’ve learned is, kapag stable na milk mo, and more than 1 year old na anak mo, hindi na maapektuhan ang gatas mo ❤️

Advice ko sa soon-to-be moms is to read and learn from other moms, but always go with your mom instincts. You don’t have to do what you read and see cause every child is different I was pregnant twice and gave birth twice by CS without my husband. Three years na ako lang ang tatay at nanay nila. I had to go to doctor’s appointment all by myself. It will be tiring and hard for now, but I promise you, no one in this world can give you the kind of happiness and love your child will give to you.

For breastfeeding moms, give that liquid gold as much as you want, as long as your child still wants it. Don’t let anyone tell you that your milk is not enough for your child because it is the healthiest food they will ever have.

I am a mom of two beautiful and special boys, both have Autism Spectrum Disorder and I am a breastfeeding mom 🙂 I am only 25.” – Fatima
