Anong pills ang pwede sa mga breastfeeding moms?

Progestin-only Pills or Combined Oral Contraceptive Pills?

Kung si baby ay purely breastfed o breast milk lamang ang tinatanggap ng anim na buwan, inirerekomenda sa breastfeeding moms ang Progestin-Only Pills o P.O.P. tulad ng Daphne, Exlution, at Cerazette.

Ang Progestin-Only Pills ay hindi nakakabawas o nakakaapekto sa gatas ng ina. Samantalang ang Combined-Oral Contraceptive Pills o C.O.C. ay maaaring makabawas sa gatas ng ina, kung kaya’t hindi ito inirerekomenda sa mga purely breastfeeding moms.

For you information po, ang P.O.P. ay naglalaman ng 28 tablets na dapat inumin ng parehong oras, araw-araw (Panoorin: Paano ang tamang pag-inom ng pills). Maaaring iregular o hindi dumating ang period habang naka P.O.P.
